In Nigeria, new Prime Minister Muhammadu Buhari was advised by his transition committee to end the fuel subsidy, and four refineries. This has angered many Nigerians, since they will be unable to buy cheaper fuel.
Former South African president F.W. De Klerk advised nations to not place sanctions on Israel, after recent comparisons between the South African apartheid and Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. He says that this will be “counterproductive.”
Meanwhile, catacombs were discovered with millions of mummified dogs in Egypt.
